Lagos, Nigeria – 07 April 2023

Sesor Empowerment Foundation, a non-profit organization, with support from Cadbury Nigeria Plc (CNP), hosted a successful Easter Food Drive to support vulnerable women and their families within Lagos.

As part of the initiative, Sesor distributed food items and essential commodities to 221 displaced persons, providing much-needed assistance to those who have been impacted by recent economic and social hardships.

The Easter food drive was received warmly by the beneficiaries who expressed their appreciation for the foundation’s act of kindness. Ms. Latifat Aminu, a widow, who benefitted from the food drive, said: “I’m not a registered member of Sesor but with hope in my heart and tears in my eyes, I came for the easter program and was given this bag of foodstuff. Thank you so much for your kindness, especially in such a difficult time. May God bless you abundantly.”

With the successful conclusion of the Easter Food Drive, Sesor Empowerment Foundation is committed to continuing its support of vulnerable communities across Nigeria as part of its commitment to making a tangible difference in the country.
